Announcements

With reference to previous circulars prohibiting children from operating golf carts, motorbikes, and quad vehicles within Riffa Views community, we have observed that some residents continue to allow their children to drive these vehicles, putting their own safety and that of others at serious risk. Several recent incidents have been observed, including a severe collision involving a child operating a motorized vehicle, which nearly resulted in a fatality and could have caused legal consequences for innocent parties due to this disregard for regulations. The Board affirms that it will not tolerate such irresponsible behavior and will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure public safety within the Riffa Views community. Accordingly, the Board strongly urges all residents not to allow their children to operate such vehicles. Should any violations be observed, the Association Manager will proceed with applying financial penalties in accordance with the Association’s By-Laws, in addition to filing official reports with the police.

The Cordia , or Geiger tree , is one of the most beautiful tropical trees, known for its vibrant orange flowers that bloom throughout most of the year. These trees grow up to 5 meters tall, with a dense circular canopy and rough leaves. They are known to attract butterflies and birds. The tree is also heat-resistant and requires minimal care, making it an ideal tree throughout the year. Riffa Views takes great care in planting these trees, and they are found in various locations, being planted annually in increasing numbers as part of efforts to enhance green areas. The Cordia tree is easily propagated through seeds or cuttings, making local cultivation straightforward.

We would like to draw your attention to the announcement by the Ministry of Labour regarding the enforcement of the midday work ban, effective from June 15 to September 15, 2025, between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Under the edict, it is prohibited to engage workers in direct sunlight or open areas during the designated period. Bahrain enforces this ban in line with international labour standards to enhance the protection of workers from occupational illnesses and injuries during the peak of summer, when temperatures and humidity levels are high. The working hours for private contractors for the units in Riffa Views will be from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We appreciate your continued cooperation.

Also known as the Flame Tree , the Delonix is prized for its vibrant red-orange flowers and soft, delicate leaves. It is one of the most striking ornamental trees, blooming beautifully during the summer months. At Riffa Views, we plant Delonix trees in communal gardens and along streets to provide broad shade and enhance the visual appeal of the area. Reaching up to 10 meters in height, the tree thrives in hot climates, grows best in well-drained soil, and requires full sun. It is typically propagated from seeds.

We have previously issued several notices to residents emphasizing the importance of not leaving dog waste while walking on pedestrian pathways, gardens, or green spaces. Unfortunately, this issue continues in several areas, and it has even extended to leaving waste near the entrances and garages of the units. Upon reviewing the security camera footage, it was found that several pet owners did not remove the waste during their walks with dogs, which exacerbates the negative effects of this uncivilized behavior. This poses a health risk, contributing to the spread of bacteria, harmful parasites, and the potential transmission of diseases to humans, especially children, when exposed to it. Therefore, and in accordance with the recommendation of the members present at the General Assembly meeting held on May 17, 2025 , the Board of Directors has decided to issue notices imposing financial penalties on unit owners who house dogs, and whose residents fail to clean up after them, in accordance with the provisions of the Association's By-Laws regulations. Due to the difficulty of continuously monitoring this issue, the Board of Directors urges everyone to cooperate in reporting these violations, either by sending them via WhatsApp to the number 39996117 or by [ clicking here ].

Neem trees are considered an important environmental species due to their high ability to purify the air, resist, and repel pests and insects, provide shade, and improve soil quality. Additionally, they require minimal water, making them ideal for the local climate. Riffa Views is committed to enhancing the green cover by increasing the annual planting of neem trees and spreading them across various areas and communal gardens. Currently, there are hundreds of neem trees distributed along streets, gardens, and community borders, with the continued planting of hundreds more annually as part of the strategic plan established by the Association Board of Directors regarding sustainable development.
