Temporary Closure of Highway 96 for One Month for Development Works

Please be informed that the Ministry of Works, in co-operation with the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of the Interior, announced the full closure of Highway 96, between Sitra Avenue and Avenue 49, as part of the Highway development works. Traffic will be diverted to the surrounding roads.

The works are expected to be completed within one month. We therefore kindly ask residents to follow the traffic signs and diversions in place.

Please also note that residents of East Lagoon (Gate 4), as well as visitors to the Royal Golf Club, will need to use the alternative routes to access or exit the gate throughout the closure period.

إغلاق مؤقت لشارع 96 لمدة شهر لأعمال التطوير

نفيدكم علمًا إلى أن وزارة الأشغال وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور بوزارة الداخلية، قد أعلنت عن غلق كلي لشارع 96 في الجزء المحصور بين شارع سترة وشارع 49، وذلك ضمن أعمال تطوير الشارع، وسيتم تحويل الحركة المرورية إلى الطرق المحيطة.

ومن المتوقع الانتهاء من الأعمال خلال شهر واحد، وعليه نرجو من السكان الالتزام باللوحات الإرشادية والتحويلات المرورية الموضحة في الموقع.

كما يرجى العلم بأن سكان منطقة البحيرات الشرقية (البوابة 4)، وكذلك مرتادي النادي الملكي للغولف، سيتعين عليهم استخدام الطرق البديلة للوصول إلى البوابة أو الخروج منها طوال فترة الإغلاق.
