The Innovation Hub at Riffa Views International School (RVIS) hosted the 5th edition of the Riffa Views Chess Tournament on Saturday, October 25, 2025, with outstanding participation from residents of Riffa Views. The tournament was held under a seven-round Swiss system for two categories: Adults and Under-16. The event was organized by The Chess Gate Academy, under the supervision of FIDE Master Zeyad Janahi. This tournament is part of the sports and community initiatives organized by the Riffa Views Owners Association (RVOA). The rounds witnessed strong and exciting competition, with several matches broadcast live online. In the Adults category, player Mostafa Pajouyan secured first place, while player Nadir Ali claimed first place in the Under-16 category. In closing, the Riffa Views Owners Association expressed its appreciation to all players for their participation, to the Chess Gate Academy for their excellent organization and arbitration of the tournament, and to Sa3ada Media Team for their exceptional event coverage. The Association reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives that strengthen community bonds and promote the culture of chess across the community.

Coinciding with the launch of this year’s Tree Week activities by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Riffa Views Owners Association organized a tree-planting event of 100 trees on Monday, 20 October 2025, in the Oasis Estate, with the participation of Riffa Views residents. The event was attended by members of the Riffa Views Owners Association Board and Riffa Views Company. This initiative comes as part of the Association Board’s strategy to support national and developmental initiatives that strengthen Riffa Views’ position as a sustainable and environmentally friendly residential community, in line with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s goals to expand green spaces and promote comprehensive environmental development. The initiative also aims to raise environmental awareness among residents, encouraging them to help preserve green areas and enhance their sense of social responsibility toward the environment. The event saw active participation from families and children, creating a community atmosphere filled with cooperation and belonging.

As part of the 2025 communal garden development plan approved by the Board Association, we are pleased to inform you that enhancement works have commenced in the main garden located in the Oasis Estate (O23). The estimated completion date is by the end of December 2025. The enhancements works include both hard landscaping elements such as pathways and paving, as well as the development of a new children’s play area. For your safety, and especially the safety of children, please stay away from the construction site during the work period. Temporary fencing and signage will be in place, and we kindly ask for your cooperation. You may enjoy using the other gardens until the works in this garden are completed. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support as we enhance our common green areas.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and support as we enhance our common green areas.

Please be advised that the 6th RVOA General Assembly, which was held yesterday, Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, did not meet the legal quorum required to hold the meeting. Accordingly, the General Assembly has been postponed to Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Riffa Views International School (RVIS), and this second meeting will not require a quorum as it will be validly convened by the presence of any number of members. We ask you to personally attend this meeting and actively participate in the discussions and decisions that will be voted on.
