Temporary Lane Closures at the Lagoon Gate Roundabout (Gate 2) as Part of Avenue 96 Development Works
With reference to the ongoing Avenue 96 development works being carried out by the Ministry of Works, we would like to inform you that a number of lanes at the Lagoon Gate Roundabout (Gate 2) have been temporarily closed as part of the project implementation.
Accordingly, please follow the traffic signs and diversions in place and take note of the following:
- When exiting Lagoon Gate (Gate 2): Vehicles must turn right only towards the Al Muaskar Highway traffic signal.
- When exiting Park Gate (Gate 3) towards the roundabout: Vehicles must turn right only towards the service roundabout on the road leading to Alba.
- To access East Lagoon Gate (Gate 4): Vehicles approaching from the Al Muaskar Highway traffic signal must follow the traffic diversion at the Park Gate (Gate 3) intersection.
All Avenue 96 development works are expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.
Please note that traffic diversions may change during the works in accordance with the implementation plan and project requirements to facilitate the progress and completion of the project as soon as possible. We will keep you updated on any changes or developments in this regard.
We kindly ask everyone to follow the traffic diversions and directional signs in place and comply with all safety instructions to ensure everyone’s safety and help maintain a smooth flow of traffic.

إغلاق مؤقت لمسارات دوار بوابة البحيرات (البوابة 2) ضمن أعمال تطوير شارع 96
بالإشارة إلى أعمال تطوير شارع 96 الجاري تنفيذها من قبل وزارة الأشغال، نود إحاطتكم علمًا بأنه تم تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت لعدد من مسارات دوار بوابة البحيرات (البوابة 2)، وذلك ضمن مراحل تنفيذ المشروع.
وعليه، يرجى اتباع اللوحات والتحويلات المرورية الموضحة في الموقع، مع مراعاة ما يلي:
- عند الخروج من بوابة البحيرات (البوابة 2): يتعين على المركبات الانعطاف يمينًا فقط باتجاه إشارة شارع المعسكر.
- عند الخروج من بوابة الحدائق (البوابة 3) باتجاه الدوار: يتعين على المركبات الانعطاف يمينًا فقط باتجاه دوار الخدمات على الشارع المؤدي إلى ألبا.
- للدخول إلى بوابة البحيرات الشرقية (البوابة 4): يتعين على المركبات القادمة من إشارة شارع المعسكر اتباع التحويل المروري عند تقاطع بوابة الحدائق (بوابة 3).
ومن المتوقع الانتهاء من كافة أعمال تطوير الشارع خلال نهاية شهر أكتوبر 2026.
كما نود التنويه إلى أن التحويلات المرورية قد تتغير خلال فترة الأعمال وفقًا لخطة التنفيذ ومتطلبات المشروع، بما يسهم في إنجاز الأعمال والانتهاء من المشروع في أقرب وقت ممكن، وسنوافيكم بأي مستجدات تطرأ بهذا الخصوص.
نرجو من الجميع الالتزام بالتحويلات المرورية واللوحات الإرشادية في الموقع، واتباع تعليمات الأمن والسلامة، حفاظًا على سلامة الجميع والمساهمة في انسيابية الحركة المرورية.
